The best solution for charging electric vehicles

Don't let the low charge of your battery prevent you from using your electric vehicle. With the Qoltec mobile charger you can charge your car battery in just a few minutes. The portable charger is perfect for longer holiday trips, for example, thanks to its compact design, it takes up little space and can easily be transported directly in the boot or in the included bag. The charger is powered from a standard 5-pin 16A power socket, while the car is connected using a Type 2 car charging connector.

European standard connector type 2

The charger has a Type 2 connector, which is now an official European Union standard, and will charge electric cars equipped with a suitable charging socket. The Type 2 connector is 7 contacts, of which 3 contacts or 5 are for charging and 2 for communication between the station and the car. Compatible with most electric cars sold in Europe. The Qoltec brand charger supports four current modes of 16A, 20A, 24A and 32A. It is worth mentioning that the Type 2 connector is designed for electric vehicles with a charging power of more than 3kW.

Multifunctional LCD display

The product is equipped with a multifunctional, 2.4'' LCD display and LEDs indicating charging status. On the display we can:
- set the current value using the a button: 16A, 20A, 24A, 32A;
- check the exact charging time,
- set the charging time delay simply by using the button with the clock icon,
- monitor the operating temperature of the charger in real time thanks to the built-in plug temperature sensor, the charger will immediately interrupt operation if the safe value is exceeded and will automatically resume operation when the temperature returns to a normal level,
- monitor the progress of the charging process,
Automatic error repair
In addition, the charger has an intelligent chip that automatically corrects errors during charging, reacting accordingly if any of the parameters exceed the norm, ensuring stable charger operation.

Delayed charging function

You can set a delayed charging start time of 1, 2, 5 or even 8 hours and save on energy costs by, for example, using the night-time tariff, this is more economical as we are not overcharging the system. Simply connect the charger to the power supply and then press the delay button a certain number of times before connecting the car. By pressing the button with the clock icon, charging is delayed by 1 hour after each click.

Charge at home or on the road

If you want to mount the EV charger on a wall you should choose a suitable location for this, preferably close to the car and the power source. You will also need to install a residual current circuit breaker - a type B RCD is the best choice as a means of full complementary protection. Ensure that it is in a location that is protected from moisture, free from any mechanical damage and not exposed to direct sunlight. Be absolutely sure that this is the case. A high level of convenience will be provided by the 5 m charging cable with ergonomic plug.

Water-resistant polycarbonate housing

Our chargers are constructed from durable, UV-resistant, non-flammable polycarbonate. In addition, the charger exhibits high water resistance and is dustproof. The casing has special holes for external mounting.

You can recharge your car at any time and even several times faster. The number of panels you will need to charge your car will depend on the characteristics of your battery, the model of your vehicle and the distances you travel. You can charge it in two ways:
- while the photovoltaic panels are producing energy - this is the most cost-effective solution
- using the excess energy produced by the photovoltaic panels, which is returned to energy storage or the grid and can be used at a later date.
